2nd Annual Shark Week is Here at Lake Park! 🦈

To celebrate, for 5 days, there will be a hidden shark somewhere on the Lake Park grounds for children to find. If a child spots the shark, they should let a lifeguard know where they saw it. If they’re right, they’ll receive a small prize!

🎯 Shark Hunt Rules:

  • Open to children age 10 and younger. 
  • Sharks bite! Please do not touch or move the shark from its hiding spot—they don’t like that!
  • Keep the hiding spot a secret—the fun is in the hunt!
  • Do not disturb lifeguards while they’re on the stand. Wait until a guard is in the Snack Shack to claim your prize.
  • Limit one treat per child per day.

🧠 Fun Shark Fact: Sharks have been around for over 400 million years—that’s even older than dinosaurs!
